Michelle Boyer and James (Jimmy) Carpenter, both of Jefferson City, were married at 4:30 p.m., June 12, at The Daisy Farm, Jefferson City. Rev. Tom Vansant and Rev. Abby Peper performed the doube-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Kirk and Kathy Boyer, Jefferson City. The groom is the son of Jon and Sue Carpenter, Jefferson City. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at The Daisy Farm. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held June 11 at The Daisy Farm. The bride is a 2014 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City; a 2018 graduate of Missouri State University, Springfield, with a B.S. Exercise and Movement Science degree; and a 2021 graduate of Ozark Techical College, Springfield, with an Associate in Occupational Therapy Assistant degree. She is an Occupational Therapy Assistant. The groom is a 2014 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City, and a 2018 graduate of Missouri State University, Springfield, with a B.S. Marketing degree. He is a Barber at Zeus Room Barber Shop. After a wedding trip to Savannah, Ga., the couple resides in Springfield.
